I contacted Garmin and asked them to suggest a GPS that I could use in my car, snowmobile and motorcycle. I told them I wanted to be able to map snowmobile trails too. They suggested the Quest 2. That is what I bought and it is awesome. I have not mounted it on my motorcycle yet but it works great on the Apex GT with the cigarett lighter as the power supply. It sure is nice to know just where you are when your down in the boondocks. It was @ 6 hundered dollars with the topo cd for US. Good luck with your decision! Steve

I use a magellan color meridian, I use it on my sled, atv and truck. I installed mapsend and it gives you turn by turn directions.

I've used Garmin for several years and won't leave home w/o it now. Use it on the sled and ATV. You'll want to get a map set with it, the base map only has "major" roads and highways. I currently have the Garmin GPSMap 60 CS and am very happy with it. I had a Vista before that and it too was a good unit.
