The C&A RZ's could make the steering a bit heavy so I am going to start with the 6in carbides.
Viper Joe how heavy is the steering with the 9in carbides?

I went with 9's cause of the additional weight of the turbo on mine. End of last season I couldn't get 9's so i got a 6 and it was fine too and less steering effort. I'm a bigger guy and the 9 didn't bother me.
If I were you I would start with a 6 and go from there.

Thanks I agree to start at 6 and go from there.

These skis keep the sled from darting with just a single carbide? Or should I go with a twin carbide?

The I've got close to 50000 miles and they are awesome. Pair them with slim Jim doolies.
I put on some Razors with 4.5" Shapers. Finally got it setup so there is no ski lift, they turn hard but they bite good in the corners which I wanted... but they dart like crazy, I hate it! So my next step is to get some Slim Jim Doolies and hope that they still have the bite in the corners, I know the Doolies will fix the darting.
Just wondering if anyone else has tried Razors with Doolies? 4" or 6"??

Guys, best is to fine tune the ski pressure and you will get the C&A RZ dialed in. Had them on my 2015 x-tx-se and now on 17 L-TX-LE Sidewinder and slight tweaks in ski pressure via the front shock on skid and you can make it a trail burner with easy steering and no darting
I am running Bergstrom 8" triples with their shims on back of ski saddle/mount
IMO all carbides will be fine just spend some time with small adjustments

Butches thanks for the info. What made it better more or less ski pressure? I guess the other question is did you loosen the or tighten the front shock spring?Guys, best is to fine tune the ski pressure and you will get the C&A RZ dialed in. JAZZ04RX1 less ski pressure helped the heavy or hard steering issue but then I would need to manipulate the throttle to steer better through turns so then I backed off the spring pressure 1 turn and it then made it perfect still easy steering and no need to decelerate to corner better, I never touched front springs just the front skid shock and my limiter strap out all the way

Can I make the front skid shock adjustment by just turning the spring? Or is there a locking nut like the front ski shock? My limiter strap is in the stock setting will I need to adjust that? Sorry for the newbie question but heading North tonight and wanted make sure what I need to do in the morning before we head out.JAZZ04RX1 less ski pressure helped the heavy or hard steering issue but then I would need to manipulate the throttle to steer better through turns so then I backed off the spring pressure 1 turn and it then made it perfect still easy steering and no need to decelerate to corner better, I never touched front springs just the front skid shock and my limiter strap out all the way

Tried to install my C&A's this past weekend. No matter how hard I tried, I could not get the ski bolt through the spindle. Any tips for compressing the rubber saddle? How are you guys doing this?

There is a locking nut on so you will need a hammer and chisel, my ltxle strap was all the way out since new

Have the front of the sled in the air to get the bolt started (say, on the outside of the ski). Then grab a 2x4 board. Lower the sled with the board under inside portion of the ski - which is the opposite side that you started the bolt on. You might still need to stand on the ski to 'tweak' it a bit to have the holes line up. Then tap the bolt through with a hammer.Tried to install my C&A's this past weekend.
