Hey guys, I'm looking into some new ski's for my sled and was wondering which C&A is the best to get and do they use the aluminum saddle plate that is on the RX-1, (mines polished and I would like to keep it if possible). And do you know of any manufacturer that could make a skid plate in different colors like orange?? My sled is getting another face lift this summer and I got a few ideas floatin around in this big empty head of mine.---- Cubby

Wanted to keep my polished saddles as well, but can't with the C&A pro's... its a solid piece of plastic (except the hoop of course).

OK, thanks Kmer. So I guess I will just have to get stock black ski's and just remove my skid plate so its got the black belly pan showing. Has anyone looked at a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix color called orange fusion metallic ? Oh yea does anyone want my blue ski's with hooks and blue skid plate????- Cubby

"Copper sunset".....I can dig it. :D Really liking the different flavours of orange these days.

Welterracer- ask Steve (NYSRXR) this question. Well I could answer it too, I do both! He found me outside of the hotel with a bottle of spray wax polishing it then we did 180+ miles on it. Accually the chrome is more durable on the control arms then the paint is and if you keep after it wont rust. Now getting the salt stains off the polished aluminum is a whole different story, what a pain in the a$$ that is to polish out.--- Cubby
