Camoplast Track Wear

I have a new Cobra 136" track with about 700 miles on it. The edges of the track show a lot of the little white cords and it seems to be getting worse. I don't think this is normal wear. Any thoughts?

Melt the cords with a match as they become exposed. Its normal for a new camoplast track while it is breaking in due to camoplast's poor manufacturing technique where they don't properly seal the cords at the edge.

Thanks LB, I spoke with Camoplast and they recommended the same thing. I had been cutting them but will try to singe them now. Thing is the inside of the track windows are doing the same thing, so it will take a while. Other than that, the track has been great.
