Camshaft upgades

In the never ending search for MORE POWER, I was wondering if anyone has played with different camshafts and had any success. In the automotive world, a lot of power can be gained with a cam swap.

I thought that I read the R1 intake cam is what they are using in the apex now, but I don't know what kind of gain you would get in an rx1. Black John did you try a different cam. I know there are a lot of variables with cams, but these machines have been out for a few years now and someone must be doing r+d on them.

I think I read that the R1 camshaft doesnt gain on the Rx1...I might be wrong tho.

Also, there are several aftermarket setups...just talking BIG bucks.

r1 cam,s are the same cam,s as the rx 1 cam,s. same lift , dration and the same part #

I was right....Its been a while since I read that...but sometimes it amazes me what actually sinks in....
