I have an 03' RX-1 ER with 6000 miles. One of my favorite things to do on a sled is jumping but I dont want to jump if its going to hurt my sled. Any input would be great.

I had an 03 and jumped it from time to time with no issues. However this sled is definately not made for jumping with taller bars and different shock settings you would be o.k

mine spends a fair amount of time airborne, i figure dont use it use it up! not ideal for jumping, actually front light in the air...be ready to brake to make it come down...no i know i should be jumping other sleds but oh well

She lands kind of hard!! I am always worried about breaking something when I jump, thats why I am seriously considering going back to a Viper or SXR

The RX is a cruiser not a jump sled.

Skydog, I like the skid alot, it totally changed the handling of the sled! I do need to do some shock revalving and spring changes though, it still bottoms on the big ones! The sled is up for sale in the classified section, time for a change...maybe?!
I've had my warrior airborn many times. 2 weeks ago ditch banging in some kickass drifts I had it 10-15ft high many times. Not only does it jump great but it takes bad landings WAY better then any proaction chassis. I had a few landings that would have folded my trailing arm for sure and just from past experince I looked down right away looking for broken parts and all looked good. ===SRXSRULE===

I've hit some 30 to 40 footers on my warrior and took some pretty big jumps down over hills with no problems. i think that the biggest part of it is knowing how to land them right.

This last weekend in Hurley, we were doing some jumping. Sailing 30-40 ft. off big rollers. Wish someone would have had a camera, I stayed on the whole time.
