Can the wife or girlfriend keep up?

My g/f can keep up pretty good on days.
Some days she just prefers to put along.
I let he set our pace, riding with her is the best.
I like riding with the guys but you dont get time to stop and enjoy the time.
She rides a 03 Rev 600 HO all preped up By me of coarse.

She rode my RTX once and didnt like it, but Ill keep her anyways.

My wife can keep up with me and my friends most of the time except when we get a little nuts in the bumps for long periods of time (miles of moguls) but we or I usually never have to wait more than a minute or two for her and she pulls up all relaxed and ready to go while we stand there and strip off clothes to cool down.
My friends all think (know) she is nuts and she is my favorite riding partner. about the only time she is not right on my bumper is when her electric shield gets a bad connection and she cannot see.
One of our friends made a comment one time that "I've never had anyone ride my #*$&@ like that let alone a woman"

My wife has an MXZ 600 and she can keep up great, even if the boys are around and we are clipping WFO through the trails, I only ever have to wait about a minute or so. I never get to far ahead of her anyways. She is defintely not scared of the throttle. She holds it WFO open on the Lake. It took years of practice and a few damaged sleds to get her to where she is now. I just need her to let us spend some money to buy her a new Yamaha 4 stroke, a Vector or something and I know she would love it. But it is hard to justfy with the way our winters have went. So I keep wrenching on her 01 two smoke. It has 3500 miles and it still mint, but I am getting worried about long trips.

The one I used to see could keep up. She was a pain. Oh well in the end I still left her in the dust. I am glad I did. Life is too short for her head games. Maybe the next one can keep up.

i bought my wife her first sled about 6 yrs ago-a 96 phazer. she went up with me once and we rode double (i can't stand riding double). i asked if it was something sh'ed be interested in, got a yes and went and bought her a sled for the next weekend.(we weren't married yet and i was still trying to get me some). now a days she rides a 05 venture and has no problem riding 50mph +/- with a occasional wfo if the trails straight and flat. she's been on many 200 miler days without a wimper. i love the fact she rides so i don't always have to find someone to ride with.

I can't even get here to try and keep up!! She expects me to slow down to her pace. Now my youngest daughter on the other hand keeps sweet talking me out of my RX1 making it hard for me to keep up.... Solved that one for next year as I bought her one of her own.

This will be a major consideration should there be a second wife down the road!!!

well i cant speak for my wife, since i dont have one, and the girlfriend...since i've never seen her ride a sled before, but my mom does pretty well....she had a 95 indy that would top out at 70...and now that shes ridin the vector she cruises at 70. she likes to sight see but when its time to go she goes...but dad and i keep her at home when we go boondockin cuz she cant throw the sled around like we can and she gets stuck and mad at us...because its our fault that she got stuck..explain that one to me

My wife can't come close to keeping up and doesn't want to try because she thinks I'm nuts. If it's just the two of us I ride differently so she's comfortable. She caught a tree head on once on a corner and neither one of us want to see that again.

I'm just glad that she gets out there with me on occasion! Sledding is way too much fun!

That actually can be true. I know a guy from MN that owns a sled shop and rides out west. He takes his wife and his girlfriend on trips with him. Him and his wife are 40+ and his girlfriend is 20+ wouldnt believe it if I didnt see it. LOL Eric
