I've got a '14 RTX SE. Spent 3 days in Cochrane Ontario this week on perfectly groomed trails. I first started with stock skis and 6" Woodys. Pushed like crazy in the corners. Next I changed carbides to StudBoy Duce bars. Same result. I then switched to a set of C&A razor skis with StudBoy 6" Shapers. They were a little better but not much. I messed with air pressure, transfer blocks and rear shock preload. Couldn't get the damn thing to turn at a good pace. Everytime I made a change I went to my original settings of 75PSI in front shocks, 1/4 of pre load in the rear spring and transfer blocks set at position #1. I also have torsion springs set at lowest setting. I weigh 250 lbs, anyone got a good setting that works? I'm lost. I love the sled, I'm a Doo guy for the last 10 years and made the switch. If I can't get this thing to turn it's out the door. Thanks in advance.
Man I got nothing. If the Razors with shapers don't turn I don't know what will. Everything I have read about the RZ is that they turn, but add significant effort.
I find my RTX to be borderline acceptable with a 7.5" shaper on the tuners so long as the trail is packed tight and I'm not trying to corner at 50mph. Planning on Curves in the future as borderline just does not cut it with me.

I'm running my front shocks at 68psi and have 4.5 inch shapers and unstudded track. Mine turns ok. You may want to try going up one hole on the limiter strap an see how that feels.

X2 Pull that limiter strap up a hole to get some weight on the front end.

X2 Pull that limiter strap up a hole to get some weight on the front end.
X3 pull the limiter up and soften the center spring after.

I have 14 RTX SE I run stock skis with snow tracker aggressive carbides, 90 psi in front shocks, front limiter straps up 1 hole, front track shock spring backed off till it rattles and then tighten 1 turn, rear springs set on mid position, transfer blocks on #1, sled rails around corners but i do get a bit of inside ski lift but that doesn't bother me.

Its not going to turn with the couplers on 1. Not going to happen. Use 2 .When you are turning are your knees up against the cowl? How much sag do you have? At 250 even as stiff as suspension is you may have to go up to med or high on rear torsions. This will help the slow stock rear shock rebound. It will not make it much harsher riding because what you feel most is the crappy shock valving. Lastly run 60PSI max in front shocks with them adjusted off the ground. Try this. It will work without sucking in your limiter and losing center shock travel which you need all of. If it still pushes try tapping the brake a bit while staying with steady throttle.

When are you experiencing the push or lightness on the skis? If you are coming into a corner, off the throttle and see push - then you need to fiddle with the limiter strap or center spring pressure. If the steering issue you mention is while you are on the gas, then play with the coupling block.

It's through the whole corner. And I get alot of ski lift. I make sure my body is as far fwd on the seat as possible. I'll try the limiter and see if that helps but I do not like the idea of loosing shock travel as I hit some big moguls hard.

As Cannondale said, coupling block should be on #2 or even #3 setting. A little throttle through the turn should keep the front end planted. First reaction to a push is to let off the throttle even more but a little throttle should couple the skid and allow the front end to bite.
Then dont do it. At most loosen the center shock some more. I have found the sweet spot is within a 2 thread range. Tighten by two threads and carry skis forever. Loosen two from there and she turns awesome. Thats with everything else right. Problem is I think you will bottom the center shock in the sweet spot.
