Yamablue, I to was having problems with getting the airbox boots to go on and stay on. They were really hard to get on! I asked dealer, and they said to loosen the clamps just about all the way and it will slide on with no prob.I found that once I did this the boots stayed on and never came loose again.I think that they were not getting on all the way. Hey yamablue,
I agree with Loosecannon and Supertuner about the flap. See, what did I tell you? Who's the weenie now?
LOL
When you were riding in Canada without your flap, was that when you had the problems with the TORS? At -30 you will have a tremendous amount of snowdust hanging in the air from sleds up-ahead.
Just because your carbs are heated, doesn't mean the linkages won't freeze up occasionally if they are getting covered with snow.

Yep tried that also. just not enough room to push them on for some reason. Makes me mad since this kit makes my sled just rip #*$&@!!Honk said:Yamablue, I to was having problems with getting the airbox boots to go on and stay on. They were really hard to get on! I install the flap so the filters push it into place. I have yet to see any of the filters fall off! I find it quite easy to install the rubber flat in this manner.
Don't be a girl!!! LOL.
