Purchased used 2005 Warrior. Decided to clean the carbs. Found that all the fuel screws were set differently. Anywhere from 1.5 to .25 turns to bottom the screw. So do I put the screws back to the same positions, or do I set them all at 1.5 turns from bottom. Seems to me that they should all be set to the same setting. Thanks for your help.

They should all be set the same. I believe the stack setting is 1.5 turns out after LIGHTLY sseating them. Lightly is the key word. Others will chime in is I am wrong about the setting but I am positive they need to be set the same.

The book says 2 turns out from slightly seated. You must also sync the carbs or it might not run so good.

Yes also sync the carbs.....it will still run and prob OK and you can run it....but its a must that you have it done or do it yourself....then you know all will be perfect....

Well, managed to put everything back together with the fuel screw at 1.5 turns out. Took it for a ride to check everything, after about 15 miles the sled started to slow and surge slightly as driving through patches of sand, then started to loose power and vibrate as driving with studs over concrete. Tach would jump from 6500 rpm to 8000 rpm and the drop to 6500 rpm with no throttle input, needless to say returned home immediately. Could this be caused from not synching the carbs because I have done that yet, or am I looking at a different problem now. I did not have this problem until after I took the carbs apart. Need advice.

This is NOT a carb sync problem.
Why are you running the screws at 1.5 turns, when you have been told the setting is 2?
Have you recently put in any fuel using a can. 15 good miles and then a problem seems like you may have recently added contaminated fuel.

Not to sound too stupid here as I have cleaned carbs before, but would anyone have a pic with arrows to indicate fuel screws? I just cleaned mine and would like to make sure all is well adjustment wise.
