I took 3.5mm off for my Phazer and my Nytro. After reading the rider reviews, it can't hurt and sounds like it helps quite a bit. My machinist only charged me $20.00 to do 4 ball joints. Cheap mod that seems to make these sleds corner better. Money well spent if you ask me.

The Nytro post has alot more information on the ball joint mod. I printed the picture and took it in with the ball joints and had him remove 3.5mm. Some people do 2.5 and some seem to do 3.5mm. 3.5 isn't really that much material...
