soooo where did this 700cc 4stroke twin come from for cat? Was this supposed to be the phazer and with bad winter Yamaha held off, again? It's $8700 and in procross chassis.

Last season they had the 550 fan Lynx them the 4000 series and the 5000 series (which they still have) this sled is their 3000 series motor not the non turbo motor. Not sure where in the line up it was last season

Ah. Would have thought all their 4 strokes would be Yamaha at this point. Maybe just for performance 4strokes

That's the 65hp 700 from last year, they introduced it in Utility sleds last year.

Kymco engine that can be found in other AC products.
I have it in a SxS and its been great.
Since Yam did not introduce anything new in the low HP segment, I will pickup a ZR3000 with that engine for my wife.
At 65 hp its only real competition is the Ace 600.

I was really hoping for a Phazer engine in a procross.....

I also find it a bit odd at all the different suppliers AC is using. It's really hard to figure out where this marriage is heading. Couple this with the BNG for the 10th time on the Phazer, and the rest of the Yamaha line up, along with the new Turbo being installed in a 5 -6 year old? chassis just seems weird to me.

120 = 123cc single fan 4-stroke - Yamaha
SVX = 450cc single 4-stroke - ??
2000 = 565cc fan 2-stroke - Suzuki?
3000 = 700cc twin 4-stroke - Kymco
4000 = 500cc twin 2-stroke - Suzuki?
5000 = 1056cc twin 4-stroke - Suzuki
6000 = 599cc twin 2-stroke - Cat
7000 = 1049 triple 4-stroke - Yamaha
8000 = 794cc twin 2-stroke - Suzuki
9000 = 998 triple 4-strokeT - Yamaha

The SVX 450 is a Sherco.

Yea this is the motor I was waiting for Yamaha to build. Or the phazer motor even with the throttle control. And then the 110-115hp version of the 998 non turbo in another sled to replace the next step. That way viper is only segment left to replace
