The line" each brand owned and operated separately" needs some clarification for me.
Does Argo have skin in the game? I would guess so if they having "brand alignment" AND letting Brad moonlight at another job.
Does Brad have skin in the game?
I am "guessing" Argo will use the Arctic Cat dealer network to sell their off road products?
Good news for the sled industry either way!!!!

I think the answer is in the message. The arctic cat line of machines brings the on and off the trail while the argo adventure starts where the trail ends. That means AC will be the brand for trail (sxs, snowmobile), and argo will be the brand for utility and wilderness.

Argo probably has skin in the game but alongside of an investor. Brad certainly has skin in the game as the CEO of both, by way of stocks if nothing else.

Snowwest reported that there will be 2026 model snowmobiles. Here is to hoping the 998T lives on.

Wouldn't be nice if Yamaha had just a little skin in the game!

Great news for the industry indeed. Even if we wouldn't get our beloved 998. We can't have monopoly. We need competition, this is what has given us so many great machines over the years. Maybe we'll even see a newer Yamaha engine in a brand new cat chassis soon!

I can't believe how many times that guy states incorrect information that Argo bought Arctic Cat. That is not true but he is trying to pat himself on the back about posting this months ago.

Argo did not buy Arctic Cat. Arctic Cat was purchased by Brad Darling & and an investment group... which may be the same investment group that owns Argo... but... the fact still remains that Argo did not buy Arctic Cat. They just have the same owners.

Great news! Hopefully they move in a forward direction. My wife and I will be riding some different sleds next year as Ive been on the procross chassis since 2019 and wanted to experience what else was out there but Im super happy to hear arctic cat will live on. Like mentioned above we NEED competition, the advancements in the sled industry come from competition and we benefit from it.
