CAT Stock Plummets

ZERO new 4 stroke yamahas or cats in the flatlands of South Dakota. Plenty of 2014 2 stroke Cats sold.

I saw 2 red Vipers and 1 black Viper along with one XF 7000 Limited and my Dad's XF 7000 LXR in the Black Hills this weekend so they are out and about.

Of course Arctic Cat made less profit on the sleds they sold to Yamaha then if they would have sold those same sleds branded as "Arctic Cat" through their own dealer network. However, without the additional brand and dealer network it is highly unlikely they could have sold the same additional amount of Arctic Cats as they did Vipers.

I've been all over and I have seen a lot of Vipers and 7000's not as many 7000's but I have seen them. They are definitely out there.

Well...if AC and Yamaha stop collaborating then our sleds will be collectors items.

Just like the Edsel ford

Funny you say that, that's exactly what my Doo buddies were calling it this past weekend.

Ive ridden 2500 miles this winter. I have seen 1 blue viper around orillia. 1 black around kirkland lake. 1 red 1 black in engleheart, and 1 black on the wabi river near new liskard.

I see 10x the doo's and polaris sleds and a lot of delta chassis yamaha sleds. I have seen very few cats as well compared to 12-13.

I guess we won't be getting any Cat Cash...

Remember that incentive Cat use too offer. My buds and I had a lot of laughs busting Artic Cat riders over Cat Cash.

Would this be a good time for Yamaha to buy out cat?

That would not be a good thing. We had at one point around 100 snowmobile manufactures, we are now down to 4, if lost another it may good for the remaining 3 but it most likely would not be good for us.
