Was also going to change my chain case oil but the Bottom torx screw has the insides of the torx striped out.
I pointed this out to the salesman when I picked it up that the screw there looked bad as I could see the paint off an metal showing .
sure enough there was a problem as this was the first one I tried.
What do you think is the best way to get this out?

I was thinking about drilling out the rivets that holds the guard cover and trying it with vice grips?

It's not time to change chain case oil as I only have 900 km but was going to do the complete service as I just changed the motor oil . But Might have to wait now tell end is season.

I would try both american and metric allen wrenches in the torx head. You might get one to fit well enough you can remove it.
If that does not work i have also had success using easyouts
You will need to grind the easyout down to fit tight in the stripped torx head.
It takes some time but usually works

consider using a mig welder to build it up and weld a nut on it.

Cut a slot in it and try to use a screw driver with a wrench or impact driver.. Replace all with 6x1.0mm bolts.

When I encounter that kind of problem, I try to enter the tightest torx or hallen I can, and at the same time work with vise-grip on the outside helping you to loosen that fastener. Most of the time it work.

Take it to the dealer and have them change the chain case oil. It was them that did that when it was leaking before you got it and they tighten it up to stop it from leaking. :hide:

I had to use a heat gun to loosen the loc tight and the torx wrench the came in the tool kit when I ran into the same issue
