Anyone know the upper and lower chaincase bearing number used in 2016 and up Sr Viper?
I'm looking to replace both of them by SKF bearing.
Also i'm searching for SKF 6206 with 28mm ID (the one behind decondary sheave), anyone know where I can buy them?
Thanks!

Lots of info. Be careful. All before this year had tapered inner race chaincase jackshaft. For the locking collar.

At 7k miles I replaced all 4 bearings and they were all good on my 14 NA Viper. It was a waste of time in my case. Just the top gear bushing was worn.

I didn't think the 2016 had a tapered bore bearing on the upper chaincase bearing. Tapered bore was on the 2014 and 2015 Vipers

Had the clutch side jack shaft bearing go on my 2015 Viper with only 1500 miles on it. I normally check and repack them but didn't think it needed it with those miles. As long as I had the jack shaft out I also replaced the chain case wobble bearing with a FAG bearing and repacked the lower drive bearing which actually looked fine. Everything looked good in the chain case other than the rubber damper for the reverse gear. The rubber was in pieces so it was replaced but I'm not sure how important that little bit of cushion really is. Maybe solid damper spacers would hold up better.

Correct. Snapring and no Tapered bore.I didn't think the 2016 had a tapered bore bearing on the upper chaincase bearing. Tapered bore was on the 2014 and 2015 Vipers
