Chaincase sensors

My chain case cover (with sight glass) has cracks on the bottom in the cast flashing. I have a 2017 btx cover so I am swapping and putting it on my 2020 xtx. The sensor plugs have a different part number on them. Do I need to switch over the sensors? Or will they still work? If I do have to switch them over, what silicone do I use?

I just went through partzilla, the sensors are the same number, the case cover is a bit of a differrent number, but could be anything lol, probably a cheaper supplier

The new cover probably does not have the sight glass. This was how it came for the Viper.
