I dont think any dealers are pulling the mufflers to check chain tensioner....doubt that very much.
You would think the person installing the chain tensioner at factory would tighten it, even if the dealer is supposed to check this. Its like most the bolts/clamps on these sleds...all not tightened properly. Comes back to quality control in TRF.

My dealers mechanic has OCD. He used to ride a Viper now he rides a sidewinder.. It definitely helps when your mechanic loves the sport Rather than just a place to work until a better job comes along. Maybe when choosing a dealer the first person you should start talking with is the mechanic rather than the salesman. Just a idea.

I'm "A" guy Ken brought back .... he happened to be out on his side x side headed home and he was nice enough to give me a tow...
My tensioner was in place and NOT the source of failure... they showed me all parts and clearly was a result of the reverse actuator and gears not playing nicely

My sled, last year, after a fella in a side by side with tracks pulled me to Wilderness Variety.
Thank goodness for folks like that.

Wow nice low rider. Do you let out all the air when you stop so it's easier to get on and off your sled? Can you make it hop down the trail? My sled, last year, after a fella in a side by side with tracks pulled me to Wilderness Variety.

Broken rear arm on M10 before I put the M20 Airwave in!
