changed my donuts today - a few observations

There $16 here in Canada,My donuts are all shot and I think I have one y pipe broken too.I bought two used 04 rx1 stainless ypipe and going to adding about 2 inchs to the ends.These pipes will last alot longer.There are 5 attaks and 4 apexs in my area and all had donut troubles this year and three with broken ypipes.Some sled had only 2000 miles and my had 5500 when they let gne did 6500 miles one first set ,them he change them again at 13000 miles.He has over 18700 miles now and donuts are gone again.

Racer Dave I have a custom yellow rtx also, went with the stock decals back on the hood, boy are those skull decals exp. Also a yellow stripe in the seat looks pretty cool,havent figured how to do photos yet on here. As to your question on miles, my 07 gt has about 4500 on it, I pulled it appart several weeks ago because of all the post on this. Mine were about 95% burned thru just caught them in time. It seems like do it now or deal with it in the middle of riding season. My 2 cents Jeff

Mine started to go with around 4,000 miles. Really started getting very noticeable at 4,500 miles. Now they are changed at 5,000. No broken Y-pipes either, thank God.

4500 ,iles and mine has a problem. started as a rattle in the tunnel and the worse it got the louder. had a late season ride 2 weeks ago so drove it the way it was. really loud now and backfires. from what i see that 4000 mile mark is where they fail
