Hey guys, if I am changing my front springs what bolt do I need to remove...the bottom...or the top...(beside the airbox)? Any tricks to doing this?

First lift the front of your sled off the ground so that your front suspension is fully decompressed. You may use a floor jack under the belly pan. Then loosen both spring tentioners, turn them all loose. Loosen and remove the lower bolts on both shocks, now your shocks will hang right down. With the spring all loose it is really easy to take out the spring stoppers. Remove the springs. When reassembling check that springs are mounted in the right direction. Springs are wider at one end, spring stoppers fits into the narrower end of the spring.

Thanks very much rx1rider. Much appreciated!
Hey Dano...this is what I am adding. I know you have done alot with your machine so far. Any comments? For the price it's not a bad option.

"The RX-1 suffers from excess body roll, the result is poor handling due to not being able to set the outside ski while cornering. Our heavier springs increase rate more rapidly than the stock springs allowing you to run less pre-load (to improve handling), which reduces ride height & roll center. If you’ve tried a heavier stabilizer bar and longer links and you’re looking to further improve handling, our front suspension springs may be what you’re looking for! The rate of our new springs is 2.3 kilogram per millimeter straight rate, as compared to the 1.9-3.0 kg/mm on 2003 models, 1.9 kg/mm on 2004 models, and 2.1 kg/mm on Warrior models. The higher rate will plant the outer ski improving handling while increasing stability, by reducing body roll."
