CHANGING HYFAX

CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW TO CHANGE HYFAX ON THE ATTAK, IS IT EASY OR SHOULD I GO TO THE DEALER, DOESN'T LOOK LIKE IT WILL FIT THRU THE HOLES IN THE TRACK, ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

If I had more than 100 miles on the sled I might know how to change them... Should be like the old viper ones with a screw at the front then just pull them through the track. You might have to notch the hole bigger as these hyfaxs are a little wider.

just lube them up, pull them through the hole. tight but will work.

Another alternative, lay sled on its side, pull the screw, take a regular screwdriver and pry underneath up by the screw and pull the fax through the window, pull fax like a bananna peel through the window as you rotate the track to the back of the sled. To put in new, oil the fax and rails, pound in with a hammer, have a piece of wood inbetween the two as you hit.

I made up a slide hammer tool, you can also buy them!

Remove front holding screw, drill pilot hole in rear of Hyfax, attach slide hammer tool, wap, wap, wap, out it comes.

Install new Hyfax by tapping in!

I did mine this weekend. What a bitch it is going through the track window. I ended up pulling the skid, piece of cake!!!
