I stand corrected. I guess you are supposed to unhook the fuel pump. I assume this is to keep the fuel pump from cycling repeatedly if you keep cycling the key. I probably will keep doing it without unhooking because I think you're right, you would have to remove the seat. Not worth it just to find out it's an 84 tors every time. (Gotta remember to not leave that tether hanging up on the handlebars when unloading the trailer, always finds its way into the throttle flipper)

2 10mm bolts on the rear side plastics/ 2 12mm at the seat tabs.

I painted the underside of mine with florescent orange. It definitely stands out if engaged.
