While into my R&D project for next season I noticed a wear spot on my valve cover from the coolant tube rubbing. Went to the dealer today and told him about it and he just so happened to have one of there rentals in the shop. We checked it out and there was the start of a wear spot on that one also with only 500 miles on it. There gone to call Yamaha about it and I also emailed him the digitial picture when I got home. Check the picture out and also check the wire from the Cam Position Sensor on the backside of valve cover for wear through harness. It looks like the gas tank pushes into the coolant tube and wiring harness leaving very little space for error. I'll update report from dealer, still a great sled anybody can have minor issues. No loss of riding time or breakdown.
