My choke cable would hold where I put it now it dont. It snaps right back to open now when I let go. With out going to the dealer can I fix it I did'nt really study it is there a quick fix.

Hey try this

Mine did the same thing..I thought it was th cable too..But all it is is the screw is lose that holds the choke lever/arm to the handlebar..Look up underneath you'll see it..Phillips screw just tighten her up and you'll be back in business..Good luck

No Prob.!!!!!!!!

No Problemo!!!!!!! Glad I could help out..Man I was ready to take mine to a shop or something.Man did I feel goofy after finding that the screw in the choke lever was lose

As you use the choke over and over again it will come loose again. Take the srew out, put some loctite on it and then put it back in. Leave it over night don't touch it till the next day and it won't come loose again.
