Anyone clean the idle air control on these sidewinders?

Idle air control solenoid that is on the throttle body assy.

This guy?

My solenoid is making noise like its working but I have a rolling idle. No change in idle if I unplug the solenoid. No codes either.

Thinking the port mat be dirty and valve sticking.
Any tips or tricks on these?

I've actually been struggling with an SD-37 code since the start of last season. (Which is for the IAC).

My sled runs fine all day long, but once it gets to operating temp, it throws the code and idles high when I come to a stop. Like 2400 rpm. Eventually it will drop down, but it's almost at clutch engagement! Then the code stays on the dash until the next day when it's cold. No problem with sled performance. Runs and drives fine, but idles crazy high when stationary.

I have taken the valve out and cleaned it, but no difference. This weekend i am trying one off my buddies sled to try to rule it out.

I have to give it a little throttle at cold start up.
Then idles around 900 rpm's and sounds like it ha a rolling idle. Then after it would idle on its own it would be around 1200 rpms. After up to operating temp it idles 1550 rpms with a little bit of rolling idle.
Still pulls proper boost and rpm's when driving.
New plugs, valve lash is good. Swapped coils around with a known good coil from another sled.
Pulled connectors off injectors one at a time and had same results from each.
Smells rich at idle.

Jeepers, you've done all of the diagnostics i could think of. Hopefully someone chimes in on here. I can tell you cleaning my IAC did nothing for my problem, but relatively easy to get at so you might do it anyway.

Ok. If I have to ill pull the throttle body assy off and clean everything. Manual just says to replace the throttle body assy.
Where did you find a new idle air control solenoid?

I haven't sourced a new one yet, want to rule it out first. Pulled one off my buddies sled to try this weekend.

Clutcmaster sourced one off a Mitsubishi automobile as I recall, but he can't reply to this because he's been banned by Mr. Sled. Sure miss that guy on here, he was is a wealth of information. I saw him on HCS maybe post over there and he might reply on the cat turbo forum.

Compliments of Clutchmaster is a procedure to replace tip with original one. Basically it unscrews itself if you hold it. Then have to cycle again and it will screw itself on. I think.Mitsubishi

Never been on HCS. Clutchmaster was definitely a good source of real world information on here.
