Cleaning IAC?

Compliments of Clutchmaster is a procedure to replace tip with original one. Basically it unscrews itself if you hold it. Then have to cycle again and it will screw itself on. I think.Mitsubishi

Found my idle issue.
Kinked rubber hose that feeds idle air circuit under throttle bodies.
Can't breath cant idle.....

While I was bench cleaning my injectors today I observed a very nice atomized v pattern spray.
4 hole nozzles.
With this v pattern spray the injector orientation as it is mount in the sled the fuel will spray directly in the path of each valve.
Make sure your injectors are straight and not turned.
Connector straight back.

He has a Hurricane secondary intercooler installed. It got pinched.

Last ride I had the idle hanging up at 2500, and on occasion I have had a rolling idle. I ordered up a new IAC and will change the tip based on Clutchmasters info.

I took it off and cleaned it but haven't ridden my sled since. I'll try it again before swapping it out, but I have a hunch I'll need to swap it out.

With the aftermarket secondary intercooler this hose gets shortened and installed on the bottom side of intercooler. Over time the hose degraded and pinched due to routing issue of hose.
The idle issue got worse over time until it wouldn't start cold without throttle.
Now it's starts good and has a nice crisp throttle response.

i've got the same symptoms as you knapp, throws a SD-37 code intermittently. Tried swapping out the IAC with a buddy's sled. Made no difference. Tried cleaning it as well. Wondering about wire harness issue?

I have no codes being thrown however, just a up and down idle and that hanging idle the other day for a bit.

Let me know if you diagnose it, and if the IAC swap works out!
