Hey guys I have my motor out and will hopefully be putting it back in soon. I assume I then need to get the clutches aligned again. Can anyone point me in the right direction of the correct tool and process of the job. I’ve done some searching and can’t really find the correct tool. It’s on a 05 venture thanks

It's really not adjustable, but I have used the threaded front adjusters to move the front of the engine(left in most cases) if needed even though I don't recall Yamaha ever recommending doing that.Hey guys I have my motor out and will hopefully be putting it back in soon. Offset is done with the secondary clutch.

Ok. I just saw the threaded spacers and thought that could throw it off if the were not adjusted properly

I have a 10mm socket that I cut to use to adjust those threaded adjusters in the motor mounts when I had to replace the bulkhead on the 06 Apex GT that I used to have. If I remember right, it was a 3/8 drive, 12-point, 10mm socket that I cut notches out of 2 sides to give the "tabs" needed to turn those adjusters. Might have been a 1/4" drive but I would have to check to be sure. I believe the service manual should have instructions how to make that adjustment properly.Ok. I thought there was some engine-to-clutch alignment process that was detailed on the TotallYamaha's Technial Pages:
I too used an old socket to create my own engine mount adjuster:

I made the tool and it works well. I e just been seeing things for a sled pro clutch tool but can’t find one online for a Yamaha 4 stroke

Not sure if there was a difference between as this is what I used on my Apex:

Ok. I can only find one for an srx. I will have to do some more searching. But it looks like that is the tool to have to do it right and make it easy
