I put the alignment tool on my clutches and they're way out. Is it all right to remove the step washer that sits against the jackshaft bearing ? Also, is there an angine mount adjustment that can be made ? Thx Chad.

Are you using the wrong tool? I was using the tool from my SRX and it is only in the area of 13mm if you used the notched out section that fits over the secondary. You want to use the thick part of the tool which is 15mm.
Thats what I did at first and it made me think that I had to remove the stepped washer also.
The SRX tool says non-electric start on it. I hope this made sense.

This tool says electric start and has the notched part to fit over the secondary part # 42421-1. Maybe it is the wrong one .
Don't think you can adjust it. The service manual says nothing about it. Only talks about the shims on back of the secondary for the height of the belt. But I have been wrong lots and more of them to come in the future.

Measure the offset between the thin part that goes behind the primary clutch and the part that goes over the secondary. You want 15mm. offset.
The manual calls for 15mm, + or - 1.5mm.
