It's not a yamaha issue but I have nowhere else to ask it. A buddy of mine owns an artcic cat, :drink: :o| yeah he knows, I already told. Anyway, the key way slot in his secondary has become sloppy for what ever reason. Could a new key way slot be broached into it 180 degrees from the original or would this throw the balance of the clutch off.

I have no idea but I would try hardcoresledder.com or ArcticChat and see what those folks think?

Good luck. ;)!

In theory it should work (can't recall the look of a cat secondary hub), and the mass removal will be so close to the axis that it should have little noticeable affect on the balance.

But I'm no expert.... ;)!
