05 rs Rage won’t go over 60 mph engine revs to 8000.
Had the clutches apart and cleaned, new belt, no change.
Would a roller secondary help or is there more to it than just throwing on a new clutch?

is there a groove worn in your primary clutch roughly 1/2 way up the faces?

if you put magic marker on the clutch faces, doe it wear all away when you run it up to speed?

is the speedo reluctor spinning on the drive axle?

Doesn’t sound like your secondary clutch is opening up, jack up the back and watch to see if it’s shifting to the high side.

All original, I read somewhere once that a roller clutch wasn’t necessary but to use the spring from a Viking work sled.

Can you see if the springs are broke either the primary or secondary?

You opened & clean... fine. Did you verify the slack in the bushings too ? Too much slack will tend to bind the moveable and you get stuck in low gear.
Did you noticed a notch on your ramp ? How deep are they ? This MY will groove your ramps and rail your primary in the middle by resonance.
I don't trust your old spring either.
Maybe you due to a good clutch overhaul.
