After a good run on deceleration the primary clutch makes a pop, is the bushing bad?
Almost like it sticks when you slow down to a stop.

Don't slow down and you won't hear it. LOL! This is normal, RPM"s drop enough to alow the spring to open the sheath to the end.
Ok, this is my first 4-stroke and there are alot of things that seem diffrent but normal.

I cant say ive ever heard my sled "pop" but sometimes they can stick especially if you've ever blown a belt.. the belt bits can get in the bushing and turn into a paste.. If that was the case it would engage a little funny too but just to make sure if you take it off and the spider doesnt drop to easily, pull it off, put some carb cleaner on the bushing and scrub it out with a soft wire brush..
I use to drive polaris so im no stranger to clutch problems lol!

I will have a look at my clutches today, can I take the prymary off by hand or would I need a puller or can I do it with the clutch on the machine?

dont have to use a clutch puller to check the bushing.. just take out the center bolt.. then the 8 bolts on the outer edge of the shrowd.. pull the spring out and the spider should come out as well if.. if its the bushing the spider will stick.
Thanks

I have seen and heard this happen when the weights get wore. I have seen small radui wore in the arm so the rollers stick in the grooves for a second and then "pop" out.

I cleaned the clutches and there was no sign of wear, I put everything together, sled seems to run better but little pop is still there when RPMs go down, I have a proline clutch kit.

Hey Attakmod, try taking the belt off and rev the motor while watching the primary clutch. When the rpm's drop, you will see the clutch snap open. You will hear a pop when it snaps open, is this the same sound?
Yes, not so loud as that but the same sound.
Had it out for another ride, sometimes it happens and then it dont, seems like when you let off the throttle and let her roll it makes the little pop, when I let her rev down slow its ok.
