Ive got a 03 rx1 mountain with 20 38 gearing and I was just wondering what everyone was using for clutching set ups for low engagement speeds and pulling? Mine engages around 4800 or 5000 and it's just to fast for driving it in the bush and pulling. Thanks.
This is what I run. I don't pull wood out of the bush put I do play around in the the bush driving slow threw the trees. Stock 03 mnt gearing.
I'm running 05 clutching in my sled
8bu-10 /10.3 steel
14.5 rollers
O-S-O
White 70 on secondary.
0-1000 elevation
I run a 1.5 crossover track. I also bought newer yamaha mountain ski's to widen the stance and help with flotation. It engages around 4800 but not hard I can crawl out of spots without spinning the track or burning the belt.
