I just installed full Hindle, KN, and PCV and was able to get it out for a ride for a few days up in the UP. It appears I need to play with the clutching a bit.
Engagement = 3000
Shift=9100
Top end = 9300(bouncing the rev limiter)
I would like to get shift rpm down to 8900 and top end to 9050. How much weight should I add to the cams?
I'm using the stock weights right now with a Schmidt Brothers stage 2 kit.
cam = 50 grams
heel= 4.6 grams
mid= 4.6 grams
tip = 2.9 grams
_____________
62.1 grams

Phone or email chris he should set you straight
I am already talking with Chris but I like to hear others opinions as well as that gives me other real world facts evaluate and compare to what I have. It seems like clutching can be a little finicky even when each sled has the same mods.

Did you change your weights in the kit that Chris sent you or did you left the stock weights in. A bit confusing.
I just got the same setup so let me know what Chris says.

That is a bit confusing, are you using SBR arms or do they use the stock arms with different rivets? You will need to add more weight to the tip to get your RPMs down off the limiter.

The stage II uses the stock weights. You drill out the rivets and replace with the nuts and bolts Chris provides.
I agree with these guys do what Chris suggests.
