i know it’s been talked about before and I’ve search this site for an hr or so and can’t find it so I hope someone can help
Buddy has a 16 viper xtx and I think he’s getting spring bind in the secondary. The belt runs a little better then 3/4 up the primary and the slides are using about 3/4 of the ramp on the helix, judging by the marks. he’s got the stock black/ pink spring. Now I’m sure I seen somewhere about a factory Yamaha secondary black/white? Spring that had 1 or 2 less coils that would fix the secondary bind. Can anyone confirm or have a part #?

A Yamaha Silver won't coil bind but you will likely have to make some small adjustments to get your RPM perfect.

There maybe a casting ridge that will not let it slide all in.
