Woke up today ready to go out riding, turned the key and code 43 popped up. Went on my laptop in the hotel and found out it had to do with the fuel injection system. We trailered home and I tried starting up my sled on the sled bed and sure enough it started right up with no error.
Any clue how something like this could happen? I rode it all day yesterday and last night with no problem.
Also is there an "official" way to reset the system?
Thanks

Replace your fuel pump relay. It has got moisture in it and won't ever be the same again. There is a new updated relay from yamaha to fix this. It's located in the nose of the sled, third from the front. Hope this helps - drew

While your at it, put dielectric grease on all of your relays...helps keep moisture out.

thanks, we found where the relay was, it was just to difficult to get at with the tools we had on the trip. The sled is still under warranty so I'll run it up to the dealership and demand a new relay, etc.

The relay is only $10 for the newer version. Seems once you change it out, no more problems. Did mine early last season.

I could be wrong but i thought on the 2011 models the relays are the updated relays.
