I have a new to me 15viper, the specs show 310 CCA, has anybody used a battery with 500cca and what were the results
More cold cranking amps means more supply for the starter, the 500cca means it can supply up to 500cca for 30 seconds before voltage drops occur. Then you care about reserves which are expressed as amp hours (ah). Is this a LifePo4 battery you are looking at?
