Viper xtx le
Had my first ride on my viper xtx le. Loved the sled but almost froze and almost blew off the sled.
What are you guys using in a higher windshield for a bit of extra wind protection on your le's.
Don't seem like there's anything out there specific for the LE's
Would love to see some picts

Thanks

I put the Yamaha medium screen on but haven't ridden it yet. They don't list it as fitting the LE because there may be interference when you turn the bars but I guess I'll find out and do some 'adjusting' if needed.

Hey just put on the mid from the 2015 deluxe and took it out for a spin and it works awesome, looks great too.

I put a mid Windshield on last year and it definitely helped but I still froze my azz off as we had such a cold winter and then I found these wind deflectors that cat makes and I figured I would give them a try and wow did they ever make a difference. I found my upper body was fine but lower section was getting cold first and then slowly creep up till my upper body got cold as well. It seems more air was coming around the sides of the machine than over the top. One of my last rides last year with the side defectors installed, it was - 28c that morning and I had to open up all my vents in my jacket as I was so hot. That was the first time all season that I opened my vents, I couldn't believe it. This year I bought the sport windshield and put the extensions on the Yamaha hand guards and we will see if that's enough with the side deflectors installed, I never really liked the look of the mid Windshield on the SE model but it will go back on if I end up freezing again.

Update - the Yamaha mid height windshield works with the XTX LE despite not being listed as being for the LE (with the different bar set up than other Vipers except the MTX)

Did you use the nylon mounts for the hand guards or the aluminum?
