I don't know if anyone has talked about this or knows but Yamaha finally has a fix out for people with sleds that won't start well below -20C its a new CDI box and different decompression springs. Hopefully this works cuz it doesn't look good having to get a boost when all you two smoke buddies are ready to go lol.

My fix was regular unleaded gas at or below zero temps and had no problems with knock sensor coming on. Crank time was about 8 seconds. I work in the petroleum industry and had a conversation with my dealer about it. He said all my rental sleds started right up at zero or below. I said do you think your renters are putting premium gas in when they fill it up.
