I have a Mtn Max with a 141 and bought an Apex Mtn with a 162". Really wanted a 144 Mtn sled and now comes the Nytro XTX. But, could you put a 144 in an Attack and change it into a Mtn sled? What else would have to be changed? See there is one for sale in classified but I am a long way from there.
I know-buy the XTX. Not sure I like the front end of those and lack of storage.
Thxs.

If you're wanting to ride in the deep I'd say go with the XTX. I've thought about stretching my Attak out for riding in Summit or Cantwell but I don't think I'm gonna. The weight is definately an issue as is the aproach angle.
If I was to buy a mountain sled right now it would be the Nytro MTX. I rode one last year and loved it. It doesn't have the "yank your arms out of socket" power like my Attak but has plenty to stay fun and competitive. Much more nimble and "flickable" than the Apex.
If I didn't have my Attak I would get the XTX for the true cross-over capabilities since my trips to the mountains are few and far between these days.

I've stretched several Attak's to 151" and they work great in the steep & deep for what they are!
