Yeah it seems ridiculous that Ymaha wouldnt put a bigger fuel tank on it. I dont know who would think 7 gallons would be enough fuel no matter what kind of mileage youre getting. Its an easy fix. And as far as a turbo getting better mileage than a SC doesnt really matter because i would get the fatory backed charger no matter what. and At $1800 its sweet al considering the kit is usually over $4000. Thanks ive been learning alot. ive been out of the yamaha loop for awhile.

I have a 2013 Yamaha xtx with the 144x1.75 track, I will tell you what this thing rips! Chews up pretty much anything out of the hole, its a bit heavy off trail but its capabale. I see 95mph on the dream dial anytime I want.

I know they go pretty good stock, but like i said earlier im used to riding 800's and everyone i ride with rides the same. If im going to to go all in and convert to four stroke i want the whole expereince boost and all! I have heard they are quick to 90 stock but im gonna want more. I am now looking at push turbos because the SC gas mileage has me worried. It looks like Push is the brand Yamaha used to sell in their catalog so they must be decent. The turboed ones do just as good if not bettter than stock from what ive been hearing. Thanks for the info!!

Call Pats in Greenland mi. They have all the info you will need on a push turbo, as they sell a lot of xtx's with them. I was told 215hp on pump gas with stock gas mileage, some even better, and reliability as good as stock. Guy's that have them claim after other turbo sleds, even the new cats, that these sleds rock.

Im going to get a short tracker...now that im scared away from the SC im not worried about snow checking. A left over 2013 plain fx or rtx with tuners skis would be ideal. i know i can get a steal on a left over. Im sure the kit works just the same on the shorties just probably harder to keep skis on the ground. I think i heard 200hp with 8psi from the push and reliable. im defininely going to need to be able to run 91 as this will be a trail sled. i know these motors are rock solid stock and should handle 5-8 psi no problem. ill look into Pats! Thanks!

I ,MY SELF, have yet to see any advantage to buying a shorty over a xtx. You could throw this ? out there on the nytro side, and see what answers you'll get.
IMO, the xtx is a better handling unit than the short nytros. Both my friends that have shorty's wish they would have went with the xtx. The xtx has better ride ,stability ,and traction than the shorty.
