Over the summer I noticed there was a small bit of oil underneath my 08 RS Vector LTX GT. It was on the right side of the sled, I took the side cover off and found that the oil tank drain plug was a bit loose so I tightened it and it doesn't seem to be leaking anymore. Anyway I was wondering if there is any common problems I should be on the lookout for with regards to oil leaks in newer Vectors.
Also today when I had the side cover off to top up the oil that was lost over the summer I noticed that the coolant is very low, there is only just a small amount in the coolant tank. Again any common problems to be on the lookout for and do I need to go to my dealer for coolant or can I just use car anti-freeze.
Thanks in advance.

I think you fixed the small oil leak..... The coolant in the overflow tank seems to disapear every summer for me..... It only takes about 3 ounches to refill...MM.

My guess is that you're now OK on the leak. Anybody else remember of there's any kind of o-ring on the oil drain bolt? If so, make sure that it's on there.
As to the coolant...no worries 'Mon!. What I do is when it's cold, put enough a-freeze in until you can just see it in the bottom of the bottle.

that's what I've been using since 0 miles
use the green stuff
no o-ring on the drain plug just a flat washer...copper i believe
i have put 2500 miles on mine . Had to replace the monoshock adjustment cable twice...once was my own fault for not disconnecting when removing rear susp.
otherwise just change the oil and fill with fuel.
