Coolant Temperatures

Unfortunately where I ride in the Northeast (Maine) we often have hard packed trail conditions. Sometimes will get a nice 2"-4" of loose snow on top but it's rare. This weekend I rode hard packed trails with about 1"-2" of loose on top and still had the yellow light on for most of the day.
Yami really should have vented these sleds better or put a larger heat exchanger in them like the MTX. It is a shame that you have to modify a $10k sled out of the box in order to ride it without overheating.

I agree, sucks to have to add an exchanger for peace of mind, but if you plan on keeping the sled, then do it. I'm getting my sled close to how I want it now and am much happier that I've done added the exchanger.

It sure is comforting that I don't have to worry about overheating anymore.

Grimm...This is my 6th Yami sled and I've loved them all including my newest addition...the Nytro. I will end up with the exchanger i'm sure.

If ya do buy the heat exchanger...a little secret for ya...order the kit through a Cdn Dealer...much cheaper for some reason.
