I bought the srx this year brand new And i knew the long rides in u.p. and 200 pound beer gut were gonna be tough after coming off a 04 viper s. The only bad thing ever in my opinion with the srx was the rear suspension and traction. The combo of the ripsaw and mono makes the machine to be reconed with. It now Rides like a caddy and of coarse sreams like a vette.!! my buddy sold his SRX last year and bought an RX1. After riding mine a couple weeks ago in U.P i went over there for the football game and when he opened the garage there sat a 2002 SRX with lows miles. Jeff Fisher who races Yamaha watercross did my setup and a couple others including Don Thompson's SRX (Boomer) who just had his Viper in snowtech and he does top notch work. Swapped the top rear shaft from the original skid to the mono other than that it was a bolt right in. I love them 4 stokes but i'm still a die hard two banger.
