I cant find the part number for the seal behind the primary clutch.
Anybody ever order one of these?
I remember reading a thread on here for changing the seal, but I cant find it.
Any ideas?

You cannot find the part number for the seal because Yamaha doesn't offer the seal alone. They only sell the entire shaft assembly. I had a leaking seal on my 07 last year and sourced my own replacement seal. Easy swap. The seal is a Double Lip 40x52x8mm seal.
I found them from a supplier on the east coast, can't remember the place but I think it was on Ebay. There is one listed on ebay but it will ship from Hong Kong. You might check with Kip at Pat's Yamaha in Greenland, MI or with Allen at Ulmer Racing. I spoke with both of them after the trouble I had last winter and I think they were going to order and stock some of the seals. Hope that helps. Brad

Yamaha part number for that seal behind the primary clutch on the output shaft of the motor is 93102-40009-00 for an apex/attak.

That is the part number listed for the RX-1 sleds, but 06 and newer sleds do not list the seal separately. Is the seal the same from the RX-1s through the Apex's? If so why wouldn't Yamaha list it in the parts catalogs for the newer sleds?
