Hey guys, I've been up and down this site and the Internet trying to figure this one out.
Tried to fire my sled today (06 apex) and it just Cranks over and over and over, does nothing other then that. I have code 11 (cylinder identification sensor) and 23 (atmospheric pressure sensor).
Now when this first happened it's was code 21 (Coolant temperature sensor). So I checked over things making sure connections were all made, cleaned the connections tried starting it and still just turns over. Installed new plugs and gapped them to spec, tried starting it and still nothing. Unplugged the battery for 4 or 5 hours, went through ever connection and ground. Connected everything back together and still just turns over and doesn't start.
It's been sitting in my heated shop so cold isn't an issue and it was running 2 days ago. Everything cycles as it should (fuel pump, starter and solenoids) checked the battery and it was at 12v so I put the charger onto it brining the voltage back up and still just turns over. Followed the sticky on how to clear the codes, cleared them all and it's showing 0 but once I exit and turn the cluster off and cycle it back on code 11 and 23 are still there.
2 days ago I tipped it on its side for maybe 30 seconds to a minute in the shop (clutch side down). A little oil came out of the crank case somewhere onto the floor. I set it back down and never tried to fire it till today.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

So this morning I checked for spark, I wasn't sure if it could be done on these sleds the same way its done on the old 2strokes because of all the electronics. Pulled all 4 plugs, grounded them to the head and no spark, tried them against the head bolts and no spark. I'm assuming the stator is pooched or the solenoid for it is and from what I've read the solenoid is built into the stator.
Is there anything I might be missing?
Is there tip over sensors on these that when activated they will not allow spark? or the T.O.R.S?

When you say you went thru the ground, did you go thru the three ground blocks that are taped in the wiring harness?
These little blocks have given many people headaches.
These sleds do not have a factory roll over protection system and TORS will not prevent the sled from starting.

The crank position sensor is part of the stator assembly, and is a common failure to have on an Apex with lots of miles on it. Typically there are no symptoms leading up to this sensor taking a dump. This is the likely cause for your issue, but a real dish with a DMM will tell you for certain.

Thanks guys I really appreciate it, I think know i got it now. I thought I had found all the grounding plugs last night. Well I found 3 more today and they were the worst ones right we here the cdi is. It's all back together now and is running great!
I cleared all the codes but still have 23 popping up

Took it out for a small rip yesterday, put on about 60 miles and still have code 23 atmospheric pressure sensor flashing and will not clear.
Does anyone know if continuing to drive it will do any damage with that code on?
I think I found 2 of the atmospheric sensors on the sled, one down by the noise and one up by the fuel rail.
