Then it must have something to do with temp change when its warm its fine when it cools no fire. Which is why I suspected the cdi as well as the loose the wire. It may be an expansion contraction thing on a circuit board which when it gets cold and contracts no circuit until it warms up and expands and contact and circuit completed again. Do you have a buddy with a rx as well so you can swap parts until you find the one at fault.

It shouldnt start that hard when cold. Do the basic checks,. First do you have spark? Then check are you getting fuel? Assuming you have compression, If you have all 3 it should run, as long as everything ids in time. When hot thats a different instance.
When you crank it when its cold are the plugs wet? Check these and report what you find.

You can do it 2 ways test from the coil back or test from the CDI to the coil..
If you have a friend with a RX the try swapping coils or CDI,
I dont have my manual but, others may chime in here, take a meter and measure voltage from CDI and coil resistance. You did try new plugs already right?

I don't suppose you got any liquids in any of the wiring? That wouldn't help.

When you were cleaning the coils I don't suppose you got any cleaner or anything in the wires harness, like leaked in there through the plugs for the coils or something? Just a thought, probably isn't the problem.

Put fresh gas in, pressurize the tank thru the vent hose while cranking, ( Blow into it or use a small charge of compressed air, ) That will get fuel to your carbs quickly. If it was running good when you put it away it should fire back up doing this.
If not... Same checks, check for spark.
Then check for fuel...
Might not need but possible check compression.
If you have fuel and spark its going to fire if not run.
Let us know what you find.

If starts and runs when you jump it and stays running all day sounds like eather your battery don't have enough juice to turn it over fast enough or stator is going bad or there's to much gap to start it but once its started the spark can make the jump just a sugestion if tested coils and they test good keep going back to find out why no spark
