Boys this guy is a dick. I will never ever take anything to him again. I am going down there today to check to see whats up. I was on vacation the last 2 weeks so this is why you guys havent heard from me.----Cubby

I am totally screwed. This Chrome guy all of a sudden decides he will not chrome aluminum any more because he cant get it right. He hands back the parts to me and says sorry. So now I found another guy here in the cleveland area that does it but he is twice tha friggin price as this moron.

This first batch I will take care of and anyone else who gets in on my fall run will not have to worry about this stupid problem. From here on out I am going to polish everyones tips for them (NO MORE CHROMING) and then chrome the plastic. It doesnt look too bad like this but the chromed aluminum is a perfect match to the chromed plastic. If the guys that do the fall run want to get thier own tips chromed by someone else for themselves, that would be fine. Its just that I will never chrome the aluminum for them.
I am going to the New chromer on monday and I will post on here the outcome.-------------Cubby

Whats the deal with the exhaust covers? Are they done?
If ya want, u can ship my tips back to me undone along what what I paid to have them done, and i can either polish them myself or send them to my chromer. You don't need to eat any more money on this project as far as I'm concerned. Your chrommer is obviously not using the right chemicals in his bath as chroming aluminum chromes just as good as steel.

Yes Nitro I know How it looks because mine and 1 of each of you guys came out great. And yes if this new guy cant get them done in a reasonable time I will send them back to you unchromed. However they will be already polished because I polished them for you guys to make sure that the chroming looked perfect. Whatever you have underneath the chrome is what you will see when its chromed. This is why I polished your tips to perfection first (with the exception of BBY, His were polished really nice when he sent them to me) so they would look as good as mine do.-----Cubby

luck your having on these pieces. I really feel bad for you as I know you are helping me out and doing me a great favor. Now it looks more like a nightmare that just won't quit. I hate to put you out; specially out of your own pocket. Let me know how things go with this new guy, I hope this works out for all of us. Thanks Bounty, and the rest of you for being so understanding. However I have found a light at the end of this nasty tunnel. The new guy I contacted actually has a store front and he seemed to be very trustworthy. And since I already preped the pieces he said he said he would go easy on me with the pricing. I think he felt a little sorry for me after I told him about my ordeal with the other idiot. So I delivered the pieces and he said to call him on Monday The 16th. I hope this new guy works out so I can make the fall order come out as good as my first order. And I also hope this guy is good with aluminum because I need to chrome my....................................(Top secret).. Heh Heh--- Cubby

Oh Yea, Went to the NEW chrome shop here in Cleveland this morning to drop off the bad parts that the other idiot could not seem to plate. He is going to help me out of this jam and said he could have them done by Wendsday!!!!!! When the parts are in my hands Wendsday I will post here and box them up and out go the parts that you poor guys have been waiting so patiently for.
The bad news is this new guy will NOT do anymore of these for me because he has too much work already so you other guys that get the chrome plastic exhaust covers from me will have to settle for polished tips for thier sleds. Unless they can find someone else in thier area to chrome the aluminum for them. But I am out of the aluminum chroming business for good. I will still chrome the plastic parts, but no more aluminum.-----Cubby

OK Guys, Everything looks great and I got it all Taped up and ready to go. Bountyhunter- I am sending it from here so you might see it by the time I get to Peterborough.-- BBY- it looks great and the rest of you Indy, and Nitro, I think you all will be pleased, I will bring them to my friends place to ship them out tomorrow morning UPS by 7:30 am Wednesday.
