Curve Industries New Product Releases Big East - Syracuse NY

Is this kind of the same idea that someone have used on a "motorcycle" with two front wheels, and when you turn the bike lean into the curve?? Sounds cool, would like to test it :) How much weight does it add up front?

Something like this?? This is a Piaggio scooter.

Legends - yes, this was featured in Snowtech last year. Curve Industries licensed the patent and has exclusive international engineering and manufacturing rights.

Marsh - yes, there will be slightly more steering effort however the mechanical advantage of the system is very large whereby creating a negligible increase. Keep in mind also, the more you move your body weight to the inside during corners, the more you aid the system in its job.

Ferg - I'll get some sequential pictures up so you can visually see what's going on!

Grimm - All things in time ;-)

Nytro88 - We have not changed the Curve XS skis.

Birk - Similar principle... keep your center of mass inside the turn by designing a suspension that encourages such action.

BIG THANKS to Hondo for joining us at Big East. He will also be with us at Eping NH this weekend! The whole crew - Rock, Hondo, and Curve Industries probably had more fun than should be allowed. I remember laughing until my stomach hurt on several occasions!

Its ironic the sled that is considered a benchmark in handling (the cats) gets this LOL When you making it for the Yamaha?

Awesome concept and I thought quite a little bit when I read the article about making one for myself but dont trust my design at supercharged speeds across a lake.

In the first post you mentioned 2 new products what is the second?

Sean, I did not know you were going to the Epping grass Drags. They do not have you listed on the Vendors list. That is great news as I would really like to talk to you about skis for my 08' Nytro........ Will you have a special show price?

The first gen "F" chassis is probably the most widely used platform of all time.... from '03 to '10, short track to long, snocross to powder - they are everywhere. We'll be fitting up our Nytro SE this season. Don't plan on seeing any part of this system for retail sale until the second half of 2010. We will be keeping everyone posted on progress though!

We decided to save the second release until Eping or Toronto. There was a lot going on at our booth during the Syracuse show and felt it was best to hold off and space things out a bit.

Show pricing applies any time you 'meet us on the street'... $419 skis, loops hardware and $50 you pick the bars. Trade in program is in full effect and has been going STRONG!

i have no doubt that it was ROCK providing most of the laughs. that dude is funny ;)!

Hi Guy's,

It was great to be with a "class act" group of folks that also have such a passion for the sport. I had a great time. Thank you for all the hospitality and superb fellowship!!! ;)!

Some big shout-out "Atta-Boy's" to both Nick and Sean. Your tremendous vision to take the sport of snowmobiling to the "next level" is truly commendable. The new concept of the HSS system, coupled with Curve XS ski's is an absolute perfect fit. Great going guy's. ;)! ;)! ;)!

In addition, I am very happy and proud to be included as an integral member of the team.

The comments from the general public were absolutely awe-some. Many could see themselves riding with this system in future.

O.K..., It's Monday Night; does anyone know where Mike is?????

My only regret, I wish ROCK was riding with us in the truck Saturday night...Then we would have had over 150 years of experience in the truck coaching this young man on what to text his new and most salacious BFF. :jump:

From Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary; Salacious- "fond of leaping, lustful-more at SALLY 1: arousing or appealing to sexual desire or imagination"...

ROCK was hilarious!!!

Thanks again for a great weekend.

See you in Epping! ;)!

Hondo, we are super excited to have you on board! For the record, although it would have been great with Rock in the truck, I feel as though 'cozy' doesn't quite depict the comfort level of those in the back seat. Maybe I should have splurged and got the Mega Cab. haha. Either way, Mike wouldn't have listened :o| and I probably would have driven off the road laughing.

Check out some more pics!

Spend some time with Hondo!
He is a riot!
(And a "good" influence... Using the term loosely... Grinz)

I'm innocent!
I swear!
*Polishes "Architectural Supports" on Halo...* :drink:

Kind of reminds me of what Arctic Cat had on their old Sno Pro's back in the day. I hear it worked pretty good.

No, not mine.
I was telling a buddy of mine who is into sleds about Curve's new thing and he's really into vintage stuff.
Started sending me pix of things they did 30+ years ago that we sometimes tend to think are brand new. Amazing stuff they did back in the day. Cat had gear reduction 33 years ago like we do on our 4 strokes. Reservoir shocks, side by sides like the Rhino/Ranger back in 1965, sit down PWC back in 1975.
Or like this thing...

They had one in 1979.
