I made some custom shims for my Curves and installed them. Definitely aggressive, you could easily feel the resistance when attempting to pull the tip down. First ride yesterday on freshly groomed trails and definitely made the steering effort increase. I know that I am out of shape from the off season, but I'm thinking I sure am glad it was a short trip. I think I'll take them out altogether

Best I can compare is it seemed that they steered as hard or harder than buddies MXZ with the Polaris grippers.

Same trails with Aggressive Snow trackers on the Gade she had no issues with turning effort.

I did the same in the offseason and I can't believe how much heavier steering it gave me. I left the shins in for now as it gives me a good work out at the same time I'm having a great time on the sled! Wife keeps on telling me I need to work out more! :-)

I h ave trails out the door at home here, but they did not open at all last season or this season. If they would I'd try to do a quick 50-60 say every other night.

I'm glad that you confirmed my findings and I'm not getting weaker ;) I think I might take mine out. Depends what the next outing entails. If it's local and I can work up to it then I'll try them some more

Thanks for confirming for me too! I thought I was weaker too!

While I was doing the shim setup I was looking at the ski and thinking for a subtle change a guy could fill the pockets with epoxy. This would increase the surface contact substantially, but not add much preload.

This was only the third time out with the Curves. I felt them hunt and track a bit in wet heavy snow darty when off the gas and no shims. It was much more stable, but there was nothing to follow on the fresh trails.
