I put on a new set of curves on the xtx today and all went well except I noticed that when the front of the sled is off the ground the skis tip down slightly. Every other ski I have had will tip up when off the ground. I don't know if this is correct for curves skis or if I need to make some adjustments. Yes the rubbers are installed properly with the tall section at the rear.
Also I really need to lighten up the steering, as of right now they are way harder to turn then my tuners are.

I run them too, so far I've had hard steering as well but I have spent all my time riding instead of trying to correct so far. Just got my shocks back from pioneer performance with a fresh rebuild and a new set of 6" carbides to try out. Only problem is we don't have any snow in western WI to test and tune...

Put a 1/4" shim under the rear of the rubber saddle.

I'm aware of shimming skis, and that too was my first thought. But then I started to think that maybe they want you to have a little more pressure on the front of the ski for the "leading edge" to dig in. It's just a little wierd to see the tips going down when the front of the machine is up like when you hit humps and jumps or pull wheelies. Some times when you catch a little air you don't realize that you are flying because it looks like your tips are on the ground. It's all about the angle of the dangle.

I have my sled at work with me, I will jack up the front and check it out at lunch. If they do, no biggie, my skis have been off the ground plenty of times without issue..

Ran the Tuners last yr.
Bought Curves this season.
I initally fund the Curves a lil harder to steer than the Tuners when I slapped them on and didn't adjust anything from the setup that had the sled handling OK with the Tuners.
To get the tuners handling and holding their line I had to run ski pressure and run the rear torsion springs higher than I liked to get the tuners to turn and sorta hold their line.
I softened the rear torsion spring blocks from hard to med and softened up my front ski shock spring preload.
Much lighter steering AND the sled handles great!
Now with the snow and trails getting a decent base these skis work GREAT. I can run less weight on the front end AND get good steering/handling. TheCurves also hold their bite once they turn and don't was out or let go unpredictably...which the Nytro does alot even with tuners.
Way better flaotation in loose snow too.
They dart a bit...but I always found darting entertaining so don't mind that.
